Yaesu VX-6R Changing Transmitter Power Through The Engineering Menu

1). Turn on the radio station.
2). If the keyboard is locked, unlock it by holding down the [(LK)TXPO] button.
3). Turn off the radio station.
4). Hold down the [(LK)TXPO] , [0] , [BAND] buttons simultaneously and, without releasing them, press the power button, the radio will turn on in access mode to the engineering menu.
5). Turn the VOL control two clicks clockwise until the text at the top of the screen changes to “H 15”.
6). Press the [BAND] button to select the band whose power you want to change.
7). Rotate the VOL control clockwise until you reach the “HP” menu item to change the full power mode (or “LP1”, “LP2”, “LP3” if you want to change the power level in one of the low power modes).
8). Once you have selected the item you want, press the [V/M] button to change its value.
9). Rotate the VOL knob to set the desired value from 0 to 255.
10). When the desired value is selected, press the [V/M] key to save it.
eleven). If you need to change another value, then return to point 6). of this manual, if you are finished, press the [HM/RV] button to exit the service menu.
