Combined with a wideband speaker and 32-bit DSP, it delivers a volume of 107 cubic watts at 30 centimeters—louder than a subway train—while automatic acoustic feedback suppression effectively prevents the harsh howling common in traditional Motorola professional radios.

From its reinforced aluminum chassis to its chemically resistant casing, every detail of the MOTOTRBO R7 has undergone MIL-STD-810H military standard testing, withstanding 2-meter drops, thermal shock, vibration, and salt spray, making its durability far exceed that of any comparable consumer-grade police radio. IP68 protection rating allows for immersion in 2 meters of water for 2 hours and withstands high-pressure disinfectant spray.
28-Hour Battery Life: The optional 3200 mAh IMPRES lithium-ion battery pack provides 28 hours of battery life in digital mode (5-5-90 operating mode) and 21.5 hours in analog mode—longer than any comparable Motorola DMR radio.
Wi-Fi 5 + WPA3 Wireless Programming and Management
Dual-band 802.11ac supports remote code push, firmware updates, and battery diagnostics without removing the radio from service. WPA3 encryption provides better protection for sensitive call group data than Bluetooth-only models.
